Creative Explorations: How digital is changing the way we relate to each other

Connect for Creativity’s third and final networking conference titled ‘Creative Explorations: how digital is changing the way relate to each’ will take place in Athens, Greece on 2 and 3 April at Romantso.
The conference will focus on the convergence between creative industries and digital technologies and will explore its impact on how we connect with and relate to each other.
With the way digital has pervaded every part of our lives, there is a significant shift taking place and cultural and creative sectors somewhat lean on technology and new ways of working to make culture more accessible, engaging and life-enhancing. As new technologies continue to emerge as powerful tools for creative and cultural sectors, could they be used for greater social good Where are the opportunities and challenges that we should focus our attentions on?
Conference will consider these themes within the context of the emergence of new business models, the rise of creative cities, technology disruption and innovative approaches to content creation and distribution and evidence based policy making through keynotes, panel discussions, workshops and structured networking opportunities.
By bringing together local, national and international pioneers from the creative and cultural sectors, start-ups, brands, policy and digital technology communities, the conference aims to build dialogue and foster new collaborations between cultural actors in Greece, Serbia, Turkey, the UK and beyond.
How to participate
We are currently running an open call for participation for all interested academics, artists, creatives and technologists, creative and cultural professionals and policy makers across the UK, Europe and Western Balkans.
Travel to and from Athens and up to two nights’ accommodation in Athens will be covered by the project.
